This is an interesting word because it is a tier 2 word that is applicable in many content areas. In my English Literature classes we often wrote about how the different literary theories intersected. I like this word and it reminds me of the word crossroads and I think of my students who are at many crossroads or intersections on many different levels in their lives. I have many intersections in my life as well. I see intersections with this class and with my other classes in this class.
